PBR Automotive choses Capiotech for development of a global web-based analytical platform

MELBOURNE, Australia - September 27, 2002 - Capiotech, a leading services provider specialising in analytical solutions, today announced that PBR Automotive has accepted Capiotech's proposal for a global web-based analytical solution.
 
PBR Automotive is one of the world's largest providers of brake components for the automotive industry. It has manufacturing operations in the USA, Asia and Australia. PBR is the largest company in the ASX-listed Pacifica Group.
 
The solution will be used to monitor and control costs in all of PBR's manufacturing plants in the USA and in Australia. The system will be updated daily with extracts from PBR's plants.
 
The Capiotech proposal will utilise a lot of Capiotech's pre-existing proprietary toolset for web-deployed analytics. Use of these tools will ensure that PBR gets the benefit of tried-and-tested technologies as well as significantly reducing the time to implementation.
