Capiotech completes global Day Model solution for PBR on-time and on-budget

MELBOURNE, Australia - November 22, 2002 - Capiotech, a leading services provider specialising in analytical solutions, today announced the successful completion of a major analytical solution for PBR Automotive.
 
PBR Automotive is one of the world's largest providers of brake components for the automotive industry. It has manufacturing operations in the USA, Asia and Australia. PBR is the largest company in the ASX-listed Pacifica Group.
 
The Capiotech solution consists of a Microsoft SQL ServerTM data warehouse that is updated daily with extracts from PBR's US and Australian plants. Following the transformation and load process the data is available via an innovative web-based reporting system.
 
The web interface was developed using Capiotech's proprietary web analytics toolset and includes feature-rich graphing unavailable in other tools that PBR evaluated. The system also enables the capture and tracking of textual Commentaries and Action Plans, as well as targets data.
